What began as a conversation between two friends — both avid travelers, both deeply drawn to beautifully designed things — soon evolved into something more intentional. The founders, Silki and Ekta, found themselves captivated by products they encountered on their travels: sensorial, refined, and crafted with quiet attention to detail.
Those experiences sparked a shared desire — to create an Indian brand that embodied that same global sophistication and sensorial refinement. Something proudly made here, yet expressed through a modern, worldly design language.
PEKKO was created to give form to that vision.
The final piece fell into place when Silki and Ekta were introduced to Ally Matthan — a trained perfumer from ISIPCA (Institut supérieur international du parfum, de la cosmétique et de l'aromatique alimentaire), an industry founded French school, affiliated with the Osmotheque. Ally brings expertise and practice in fragrance and skincare formulation; Ekta and Silki’s persistence for functional, ritual based beauty, was rewarded by marrying meaningful ingredients and material studies at the molecular level with deep and thoughtful design that extends to everyday life with Pekko.
Together, they have spent a year fine-tuning formulations that are distinctive — cleaner, gentler, and more sensorial. For the first time, an Indian collection offers anti-oxidants derived from tea grown on home estates. Rich, nourishing care where focused science meets refined fragrance and texture.
