What began as a conversation between two friends — both avid travelers, both deeply drawn to beautifully designed things — soon evolved into something more intentional. The founders, Silki and Ekta, found themselves captivated by products they encountered on their travels: sensorial, refined, and crafted with quiet attention to detail.
Those experiences sparked a shared desire — to create an Indian brand that embodied that same global sophistication and sensorial refinement. Something proudly made here, yet expressed through a modern, worldly design language.
PEKKO was created to give form to that vision.
The final piece fell into place when Silki and Ekta were introduced to Ahalya Matthan — a perfumer who had trained at the historic ISIPCA in Paris, the world's living archive of fragrance. Ahalaya brought deep expertise in scent and formulation; Ekta and Silki brought a vision for beauty, ritual, and thoughtful design.
Together, they spent nearly a year developing formulations that would be truly distinctive — cleaner, gentler, and more sensorial. The result was a collection rooted in tea-based molecular care, where powerful antioxidants meet refined fragrance and texture. A meeting of vision, craft, and quiet attention to detail.
